It was announced yesterday that Tom Kristensson will be part of the ADAC Opel Junior Team next year. To be honest I don't understand this decision because Jacob Madsen was faster than him in every round they competed against each other. But as always there are many other factors which play a role in these decisions (money, media skills...). I still wish Tom all the best for the ERC Junior championship next year.

Maybe Madsen wasn't able to pay the price about the prize.
The prize is not a factory seat free of charge, a driver need to bring 150000€ for the team. For a German driver ADAC will pay about half from this, but a driver abroad needs to pay it all by himself.

I didn't know that it's that much money! Thanks for your answer.

He's also the winner of the Cup . Despite that Madsen is the faster one but missed some event due to his injury. And indeed it's not a free seat. Everyone brought money. Griebel with his sponsors and ADAC Bergkvist got support of Opel Sweden etc..
