Mads is not on the top level in WRC but he could definitely win some events in ERC. He might not find it easy though, and in the IRC ‘olden days’ I think he would have been out of his depth.

Completely agree. Good way to get more practice on a much more even footing rather than as a privateer attempting to run a very complex WRC car. Realistically I think he is wasting money to be doing the WRC as a true privateer.

IMHO if he doesn't crash he is able to win the ERC unless the competition level grows miraculously compared to this year (or if he doesn't complain about technical problems in every event as usually).

Agree, also unless Lukyanuk improves his own reliability.

Have you heard something to that effect? It crossed my mind that he might 'do a Rosberg' after his triple crown.

No, just with people saying Lukyanuk can win the title in 2018 and Østberg could have a chance to win some rounds...

How is stating the reality, i.e. that both Lukyanuk and Ostberg can win rallies or even the title, suggesting that Kajto is about to retire?

For Your information Kajto won only one rally this year and while it was enough for the title it doesn't mean that he is invincible.

Thanks, You prove my point... Kajto won the title with one rally win.

The rest are so crash-prone, inexperienced on some events or dont have the finance for a full season or have the best quality car.

If Kajto drives next season will you put your money on Lukyanuk or another for the title ?
    Exactly.
