I think that Zawada was born in England and spent most of his life there. I am not sure though.

Yes, Zawada is Polish, but he was born in London. You can read about him here:

He is a good driver, but I never thought he would be faster than the works Opel drivers!

Exactly, that's what Kajto says in the interviews - no risks, no mistakes, stay on the road, keep the championship title in mind:

Unfortunately such approach gives him no future. As I said previously - likely the last season in serious rallying.
He never gave any symptom that he deserves WRC2 - such rallies like Barum are great opportunities for this and he fails.

Yes, you are right. That doesn't look very promising for the future. But on the other hand - what would you choose if you were in his position? Drive like a maniac and maybe crash on the last stage (like Lukyanuk) or drive safer and win 3 ERC titles in a row?

It's a shame but Kajto hasnt had the championship competition required for him to push for a win here.

Lukyanuk's serious accident plus Magalhaes lack of experience on some events and Bouffier's limited budget has meant a clear run for Kajto.

I'd say that my choice would depend on my plans for the future. If my plan would be to get WRC2 seat/contract/sponsor I would push like hell (but still wisely) to show that I deserved it.
In my plan would be to finish rallying career and become a celebrity I'd drive like Kajto.

It's sad that Kajto is the quickest polish driver at the moment (not counting Kubica) - BUT there is a hope for a new star: Aleks Zawada!
