    Timo Makinen.

Very sad news that one of the 'fathers' of Rallying has passed away aged 79. One of the first 'Flying Finns who was so spectacular to watch. R.I.P.

Photo of Timo Mäkinen from Rally Vltava, Czechoslovakia, 1966. The rally was part of European championship and Timo finished third behind Rauno Aaltonen (Mini) and Bengdt Söderström (Cortina).
