    Long Beach

What a dumb collision so early on. Power really should have seen that gap closing up. Likewise the other guy should have left room.

stupid way to go out on lap 1.

    Anyone watching?

It seems like Honda has made a huge step forward for this season vis á vis Chevy. After Bourdais won at St. Pete, we have three Honda-powered cars in the top three at the moment.

And there's another (outsider) Honda victory. Congrats to the mayor of Hinchtown!
Terrible reliability from the Andretti cars.
Ed Jones is having a respectable rookie season so far, again finishing in the top ten.

Missed it. SCCA racing at Summit Point. Sounds like it was a decent event. Congrats to Hinch.

Great event as always, even though a bit toned down.
No Celebrity race this year, as well as no Indy lights for the 2nd year in a row.
Never was a big fan of the celebrity race, but I do miss the lights.
Great crowd on Friday (lots of free tix), less on Saturday. Sunday was decent, but by my guess, less then last year.
A little tidbit about the Penske autograph session on Saturday. In my opinion, a great celebrity is not just good at what they are doing but also how they interact with their fans. Helio, Josef and Simon were absolutely awesome; talking and joking. Will did not say one single word.
Racing itself was really good. Enjoyed Can Am, for the first time this year in Long Beach, I believe.
Stadium trucks put on a great show and the drifters under the lights are always fun to watch.
Kings of Chaos featuring Billy Idol and Billy Gibbons put on a good show in front of a jam packed plaza on Saturday night.
Walked around Sunday night and it’s quite amazing how much is already taken down by Midnight.
