I know it's weird because of the shade, but come on, that's a Marussia with a Honda sticker...
[I screenshoted it from the official McLaren website, didn't edit in any way]Last edited by Koz; 24th February 2017 at 11:19.

Too much talk about color and not enough about details--you all sound like a bunch of girls.
I find the McLaren radiator covers radically different--can see the ground (or is that an optical illusion?). Also, they are the only team (so far) to go with scalloped edges dropping from the nose (the Mercedes' are a bit further back, and the Renault's dropped edge is straight). FI opted for a more angled, stepped nose (where the suspension attaches) than the others and, as usual, their nose design is wildly different from the others.
What else design-wise, am I not seeing? What do you notice that I need to pay attention to as a fan?Last edited by keysersoze; 24th February 2017 at 11:31.

McLaren often debut their cars in orange then change it for the season. Looks like they are going to stick with orange this year, which is nice, although not orange enough for my liking.

That's not ground, just white paint.
It has the same kind of gills on the rear wing as on the nose. Is it stepped? I can't tell.
Sidepods and intake seem smaller than some of the other cars.
Oh, and if it's not pretty how can you expect it to be fast?

They are remarkably similar although from the front the black vs orange nose is a big difference.

Mclaren seems to have a very cluttered area around the barge boards and side pods.
I am amazed how shallow alot of the noses seem to be. Whether its due to shorter drivers not needing leg room or what, but they look deceptively tricky to hold legs
Ferrari's sidepods are very unusual. Will make clearing any debris out of the tricky.
Mercedes dont seem to have gone for a shark fin yet. I imagine things like this may change before the season.I still exist and still find the forum occasionally. Busy busy

I'm sure I've seen that McLaren before:
