Jesus, that Merc is mighty fast now. Lewis has just equalled yesterday's speed at the speed trap. It makes you wonder how much time Merc were losing over their "conservative" setup and how much of a real advantage they actually have over the opposition, but it looks really ominous.
Also, how many complaints over lapped cars have we heard today? They must have set a record now.

Well, we can't say that the WDC is wrapped up now, but Lewis is pretty much screwed. Nico can just settle for second in every race from now on and he'll be champion.
It's noteworthy that Verstappen managed to pull off a second place with the third fastest car today - he's my driver of the day. :-)

I thought that was a really good race. The first 20 laps were pretty fighty, right through the field, and we got a good battle between Max and Lewis at the end. If DRS makes passing meaningless, then surely it makes defending like Max did at the end double-extra-bonus-amazing.
