All these people saying history repeats itself and throwing shit at the new cars... It was the organizers' fault. He shouldn't have been sitting on the ground, even if it was on the side of the road. Monte Carlo spectator safety looks to be really bad.

Paddon was already involved in an accident with several hurt in Argentina last year. It's not about the cars but about safety and prevention.

Instead of blaming the cars we should blame this awfull MC organizers.

This was very slow and slippy corner, so, no question about car power at all.

Look at this shot. You see something black next to the road, road level...

Indeed. Tail out on ice. Could have happened in a Fiat 131 or a MK2 Escort or a Saab V4 or a Integrale or pretty much anything.
You're so beige, you probably think this signature is about someone else.

It's stupid to blame the cars for this incident, could have happened with fiesta R2 just as well.

Even more stupid is any spectator sitting in that spot.

Respectfully, the organisers cannot entirely control the crowd, or the level risk an individual is willing to take, in order to take a photograph. It's pretty basic: don't stand/sit on the outside of a corner.

I hope the spectator "just" fell and wasn't hit before, in that case it shouldn't be too serious... news are slow though, fingers crossed. And yes, very stupid place to stand by...

Its nothing to do with the cars or the stage or it being at night. On the outside of a corner is a ridiculous place to stand. Especially were he was there was no escape. I hope the guys ok but jesus a bit of common sense goes a long way. Horrible start but hopefully the spectator is ok and the rest of the event runs smoothly
