Despite the final bad luck, Tanak, Molder and DMack guys did an outstanding work. They really deserved this one but sooner or later other wins will come on their way.
Dramatic rally end also for Lappi; just like Tanak, he lost the win on SS20 because of a puncture. Better luck for both in Finland!Rally addict since 1982

Well that has to be one of the most emotional WRC finishes in a long time! Gotta be good for the sport right?

This is true, I noticed missed junction and a few excursions wide in the ditch. However when Mikkelsen cleans the road (more or less being 3rd) his job is very demanding and those things are inevitable. If he wasn't flat-out all the time (and making small mistakes) he probably wouldn't win it. But Rajd Polski is forgiving event in terms of small driver errors.
