That would be really a bad choice.

I am sure you look much more feminine than her

It's not about fear but of disappointment.

Yes it was. Besides him I liked Jimmy Conners and John McEnroe for their fierce and animated personalities. Not sure what was more entertaining, watching McEnroe's fits or Bobby Knight's implosion on/off the basketball court. I miss those days.

I find it weird that Robert started this thread and never came back. He also omitted to say who's his fav player.
Are you sure he's not any of you?

Multiple (-member) personality disorder?... on a forum? Baahh! Never!

Interesting first post though - a question about tennis on a motor sport forum. As Jerry Seinfied once said,"Not that there is anything wrong with that."

Oddly enough when I was younger, I have to admit that tennis was the only other sport I followed besides racing. Then came the Oakland Raiders...

.... now that I think about it, I should have stuck with tennis.

That's an exageration gadjo. I'm sure we have some other decent sportsmen. Victor Hanescu is a decent tennis player. All the news I hear about him are pretty much the same: Victor Hanescu lost in the 2nd round of some tournament... but even so he's a millionaire . He must have won some match sometime, right?

    That's rather mean, Benny.....
Did some research and this is what I found:

"La Jocurile Olimpice de vară din 2008 de la Beijing l-a īnvins īn primul tur pe italianul Simone Bolelli, cu scorul de 7-5, 3-6, 6-4, fiind primul jucator de tenis din Romania care a reușit calificarea in turul doi al unui turneu olimpic de tenis "

Well, I think it was quite an achievement......

"Īn turul al doilea īnsă a fost īnvins de francezul Gaėl Monfils, cu scorul 6-4, 7-6 "

For non-romanian speakers ( ) it says that he was the first romanian tennis player who passed the first round of an O.G. tournament.
Sadly, he lost in the second round.

Simona also lost in the second round at Roland Garros.
