Fan Safety Measures
Its common practice to bring up drivers safety week in week out but after the death of a spectator at the Nordschleife, maybe its time to bring in to question the safety of the fans.
Tyre walls and fences aren't always enough and much credit has to go to the Marshalls who sit nearby when the cars/bikes are mere inches away.
Any ideas on the issue?
Mine is to if possible at least make a minimum distance that the fans need to be so that they aren't in the line of fire.Regular news updates, race reviews and previews as well as FAQs at http://motorsportcentral.co.uk/

Cars have been getting airborne at that spot since at least the 60s, so it was not hard to see this coming. I've even put a few GPL cars over the fence there!
What will probably happen is that they will either shave the Flugplatz down or they will install a silly chicane before it.
