I agree with the poor ERC list. But you all know there's the national round of the COI.
Guys like Jennings, Boyle even youngsters like Desi Henry drove the national event last year.
If you mix both, the entry is good. But Irish drivers rather drive WRCars or RWD. The classes don't match with ERC.

The main problem last time was the unreliability of the 208T16's of Breen and Abbring in this respect.. not the fault of the event.
This year the 208 has already proved reliable and with the Fiesta's of Kajto and Lukyanuk entered I dont see how the competition is any worse than any other 2015 event. And Skoda arent entered anywhere in the first half of the season so that is not the CoI's fault either.
As Fly says, the CoI has a huge National entry running alongside so provides plenty of great rallying for the fans.#M-SPORTER

Tarabus Skoda S2000 entry also confirmed: http://www.fiaerc.com/news/detail/id...r-Erc-thriller
Hudec is also entered in a Skoda. Hudec, who was runner-up in last season’s ERC Production Car Cup and is campaigning a Skoda Fabia Super 2000 in this year’s ERC, said: “I hope we can do well because it’s Tarmac and normally I am much faster on Tarmac.”
Emil Bergkvist, who emerged as a star of the future when he won the opening round of the ERC Junior Championship in Latvia, is set chase more European success when he contests the Circuit of Ireland Rally.Last edited by Fast Eddie WRC; 20th February 2015 at 22:47.

Anyone in mainland uk fancy hire car share to follow CoI - meet up in Belfast or wherever flights are cheapest?
Actually meet at Dublin is by far the cheapest option!
