There was some agreement with Czech motorsport association and it lasted three years (2012-14) Jaenner rally organizers paid for being in Czech calender, but czech drivers were not happy (it was uneconomical) so there wasn´t any reason to continue. Look who was there in 2011 and you will get an idea. Plus few more names from czech top. Pluto will tell you more for sure.

The main reason is the date. It's really big problem for drivers to have budget sorted before the end of the year especially when the first Czech event takes place only four months later in April. A lot of people also prefer to stay with their families over the Christmas holidays and New Year's Eve instead of sitting in a recce car writing pacenotes.
The other issue is that for Jänner drivers who want to succeed need gravel suspension parts and brakes. As You probably know Czech championship is asphalt only and therefore Jänner means a special investment just for one event.
For both reasons I think there won't be much a difference in number of Czech crews on the start as those who like the event will start anyway and the rest mostly skipped it even when it was part of Czech championship.Stupid is as stupid does. Forrest Gump

Odlozilik has Fiesta R5, I expect him to be there. Most probably also Tarabus will be there. My foresee is also Orsak won´t be there, but not because he skipped last year but because of private reasons.

I am in discussion with czech drivers and lot of them is thinking about start or not start. For most of them, biggest problem is the date, like usually. Second problem is weather, some drivers wants to start only in case of snow. But during last years the snow condition was not so good. So we will see what will be the decisions...
