    Phoenix Cup race entry list is up

    50 cars entered,
    #02 Brandon Ash 1st race this year,
    Lepage in and Andretti out of #37,
    #33 Wimmer not there,
    Martin still in #01, his 1st CoT race.

    No changes in Top 35, but gap to 36th growing.

    1st practice is done, according to those speeds the slowest cars outside of the top 35 & 7 fastest cars are :
    Ward Burton #4 Chevrolet 128.457 mph
    Mike Bliss #49 Dodge 128.068 mph
    A.J. Allmendinger #84 Toyota 127.941 mph
    John Andretti #37 Dodge 127.923 mph
    Jeremy Mayfield #36 Toyota 127.823 mph

    Qualifying is @ 8:10 PM (ET) TONIGHT

    (I left Dale Jarrett out because he has the Previous Champion's Provisional to fall back on)
    (Dale Jarrett WILL make the race, either on speed or the PCP)
    (Michael Waltrip had the next lowest speed @ 128.654 mph & anything can happen in qualifying)

    Yes sort of. It's a cut and paste from my Excel spreadsheet file. (Since I print out on an old inkjet printer in fonts 10 or smaller, the caps are needed.;-) If one of the symbols above ^ will change caps I'd do it, but I'm not willing to completely retype.

    Tough week again for the Red Bull team.

    I'll be glad when Dale Jarrett uses up his Champion's Provisionals.

    Dave Blaney in 11th shows that it isn't because a Toyota won't run.

    I had hopes for Casey Mears this year in the #25, but it looks like he will be a disappointment this year. Will this year be his last?
    DVR . . . . . Life is too short to watch commercials.
