He used to be the co-commentator on the live IRC events; very good, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable.

Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

Listening to two/three voices at once for hours on end is really wearing. I end up watching with no aound.

I think he did Corsica 2019 daily highlights - proper old skool reporting which was brilliant. None of the faux live pish that made me stop watching the highlights

I just can't fathom out why they wouldn't have an 'expert' in the booth on every event? It's hardly like there's a shortage of out of work former drivers and co-drivers! Are the promoter really too cheap to fund an additional person?

I wish there were more cameras in the stages on some proper locations, highlights these days are mostly just copy paste from all live

He's been dumped by WRC Promoter for World RX, so I can't see him making an appearance in WRC again....

Those interviews right after the stages are so useless. We are watching the stages... we basically KNOW what they are going to ask and what the drivers are going to answer.
That Ott's interview was the first time I couldnt predict the answer haha

Your last sentence is the reason why I don't mind them. No minders around or much time to think often results in drivers telling us what they shouldn't! Also, their comments often give us more detailed info about a stage's condition or an incident in it.

I think they are fine as is, it was really annoying before they did picture in picture, half of the broadcast was opening and closing doors

And to complain a bit: i'm disappointed by the weak WRC2 coverage in rally Estonia, plenty of big names and a close fight but all i have is times on ewrc...
