Nicky Grist Stages
Regs out and already a cracking entry! Plus a new incentive which is as follows:
Nicky Grist, in partnership with Ravenol, the high performance motorsport lubricants, is laying down the gauntlet to all rally drivers to see who is the Best National Rally Driver in the UK. In a one day shoot out to be held on the Nicky Grist Stages on the 12th July any entrant into the rally in any class will get the opportunity to prove their ability.
And how the Challenge works – The Clerk of the Course for the Nicky Grist Stages will work out the mean average time penalty for each class based on a number of previous year’s events. This average time penalty will be known as the ATP. The winner of the Ravenol Nicky Grist Challenge will be decided on the biggest percentage decrease in their class ATP. Should the ATP be slower the smallest percentage difference to their class ATP will be deemed the winner.
And the Prize – well that will be the best on offer at national level rallying. The overall winner will receive up to 8 paid rally entries in to the 2015 BTRDA Rally Series, with up to £3000 of Ravenol products to ensure their car is perfectly lubricated for each rally event.

Great entry. Won't be going myself, entered in a hillclimb in Cornwall.
You're so beige, you probably think this signature is about someone else.

Saturday was a good day in the end, unless you were one of the competitors who were caught out by the bridge on Route 60.
Good to bump into Mr Harvey before the 2nd running of the stage, Alex Allingham's jump and landing really was quite something so look forward to seeing that on Special Stage!
Didn't take too many pictures, but he is a few..

It's OK, it's a short stage! Remember the FIA and promoter reserve the right to completely fuck over everything we all know, enjoy and understand about this series and sport. Or, maybe they might...
