Valkenswaard, Greinbach and Sosnova were already to small and backwards in the pre-IMG days. They will never get top rallycross at those tracks anymore. It is the same for most old-rallycross tracks. It is sad because they often gave great races but okay... the memories live on I suppose.

Yeah, I was about to post it, but sindroms was first.
Track is in the city and perfectly reachable by public transport
Only concern might be weather - in the beginning of october it can be from +20 and sunshine to almost first snow.
Ok, in recent years it's mostly former but still. Otherwise, organizers have done great job to prepare the track and we will see
first race in just short of 2 months - NEZ RX round will be held in last weekend of july.

That merge from the joker could create some interesting last laps. Doesn't look like a lot of options for spectators though.

Well, yes, track is not in natural amphitheater like some other ones, but still, there are plenty of nice options. That stationary tribune (long one) has nice view for entire track and is quite large actually. And there will be temporary tribunes built for event. One large next to stationary one and one (also quite large and long) on the other side of track, right in front of jump. There was some mentions of total capacity but I can't find them at the moment. Still, best tribunes were sold out in few hours.

"I'm looking to create an arena in and around Stowe, so we'll have grandstands all around Stowe, and then we can do things like Race of Champions, World Rallycross and music concerts,"
Dear God I hope not. Flat boring aerodromes might be what F1 want, but RX? Noooooo thank you

I'd like to think that Lydden has enough charm to stay on the calendar ahead of Silverstone. After all the title sponsor does have the owner's son as one of it's 'athletes'

Do IMG care about the history of the sport and continue with Lydden or do what you'd expect them to do - chase the money and go with Silverstone??
Is there a better sound than that of Porsche engined Flat-6 ???

Hmm, Lydden definitely has a few issues. Until the new control centre is built then it's a bit sparse, and it's a nightmare getting out the car park. It's also not going to be long (on current increase) until there are too many fans for the size of venue.

no. you would need a regroup after every stage to switch drivers.
