Hell is out from the new-new-new calendar but Montealegre returns.
I just wish luck for them cuz Im pretty sure theres gonna be more date changes but its interesting to notice they changed one of the races that'd be on the same weekend as the new Nitro Rallycross series (from America... which plans to become a world series by 2022). NitroRX expects a few WRX drivers in these races so its good for both series if theres no date-clashes

Im not a huge fan of these big machines being used in racing (extreme-e, current "utes" being used in v8sc and argentina's TC pick up, future "touring car series" with SUVs...) but I liked the design. And it is a 1000hp car, which is crazy. Im honestly interested in watching this. I also loved watching the new eRX2 car. It was turning similar lap times to the super cars in Holjes during the NordicRX weekend there.

    Lets see how it goes.
BTW, Liam Doran and Robin Larson will be team mates this year with RX Cartel.
No infos so far on which car or if its is nitro, world or euro championship but knowing Doran, its probably Nitro

RX-style version of the Indy vs CART this, one series will come out on top, but I'm not sure there will be any winners.

My very wild guess is that NRX will be more popular, so the series will merge in future.

I like to think that WorldRX will return to be an european championship like it always was (and IS, tbh...) and
NitroRX will take over as a big show all over the world - like the actual Nitro Circus, which sometimes looks like a "modern evolution' of the X-Games"...

WorldRX is going 'behind a paywall". Theres a new "WRX+" to be released for 2021.
Which is understandable, since we saw everybody leaving the series for the lack of RoI (track promoters, manufacturers, sponsors, serie's promoters, 'big stars'...)

Not sure how it will work out, GRX tried the same, with the x-game style, but it never caught on. Unless they throw loads of dollars into it, for years to come, I am unsure that it will work out.

Understandable, and yet, not a way to get loads of viewers and eyes on the series. Possibly there would've been an advantage of having a WRC+/WRX+ combo?
I still believe that World RX is a thing that can be possible and something that can have a future, but it needs to be promoted the right way.

WRC+ could do with becoming a 'Rally+', with the addition of WRX and ERC... Though as Myrvold says, being behind a pay wall is not the best way to get the product out there.
