Re: Rallye Monte Carlo 2014
I wonder how much doing Janner Rally helped Kubica get ready for these conditions? Given everyone else only tested, there is nothing like proper competition experience pushing you to help hone your skills.

Re: Rallye Monte Carlo 2014
Awesome start from Kubica Good to see Meeke and Bouffier in the mix as well. Awesome RMC so far
Great time by Burri aswell, leading in S2000 Fiesta in front of all R5 Fiestas Quite a funny situation

Re: Rallye Monte Carlo 2014
Hyundai Motorsport team manager, Alain Penasse, told WRC.com: “We are disappointed because we agreed that he would go for a smooth start because we know conditions would be difficult.
“If we compare the split to that of Ogier, Thierry was 4.5s quicker which is a huge difference. I think maybe he started a little too quick and wasn’t taking into consideration the winter conditions that were a reality at that moment.”
edit the above is the only comment so far from the official site so far after 3 stages.
these guys must go home, they are useless. They ruin the sport.

Re: Rallye Monte Carlo 2014
I guess that many drivers are going to verreact to the conditions now. They take too much snow tyres :-) Increasing temperature together with some rain should cleare most of the snow and right choiche might be supersofts.. and just for in case couple of snow tyres as a spare for the last stage..
