    2014 News and Results

    What will happen to the 2014 version of ERC?

    Will we see any change to;
    - Classes
    - Rallies
    - Teams

    Will the series thrive and grow in 14, and get a wider interesst?

    Good news is that Kajto will be doing 6-7 ERC rounds this year. For sure Ireland and Acores. He will see about the rest of the rounds. Lappi will do 8 rounds in ERC. Neither Lappi, nor Kajto will do any WRC rallies. If LOTOS gives some more money, then Kajto will do WRC Poland, but it's not in his programme now.

    This is quite strange - he will do 6-7 ERC rounds, but for sure at least 5 of them is in the first half of season. So he doesnt want to count results from second half of season?

    Here comes the answear from Kajto himself
    "We are going to drive 8 rounds. This one is third, so we still have 5 to choose. I think that none of my colleagues confirmed which rallies they will drive, so we are going to reveal this secret when the right time comes too"

    More likely I guess they will decide about further events based on the results.

    Could someone "enlight" me about this project please?
    As far as I understand, the car is based on the facelifted third generation Impreza, it's not a brand new car... but in 2013 we saw Kees Burger running a similar car... I'm a bit confused

    JRM is building a new N4 car, whereas Kees Burger ran a R4 car, built by STi. I think only him, his teammate in Finland and Toshi Arai in Rally Hokkaido drove it.
