Penultimate round of the Canary Islands championship this weekend. Lemes in the Hyundai now in R5+ spec against Cruz in the Porsche. Hyundai have also roped in Pernia from the Spanish series to help out. Selfishly looking forward to the title going down to the last round in Lanzarote at the end of the month as will be at the rally once again.

Efren Llarena 11th overall after first leg Comunidad Madrid, not bad start for the new 208 R2T(ahead of Pedro Antunes leading the Peugeot Cup Iberica)

Ares (i20) won Madrid rally but thanks to his P2 Lopez (C3) got his second title of the season; besides the Tarmac series (CERA) he also won the new mixed Superchampionship (SCER), run for the first time this year. Congras to him, co driver Rozada and Sports&You team!

Last round of the Canary Islands championship in Lanzarote this weekend and looks like being a nice sunny day to watch rally cars in action!

Cruz and Lemes to fight it out GT vs R5+ going to be an interesting battle and lets hope its a clean fight with nothing like what went on in Italy last week..

Yeray Lemes won his home event in the Hyundai Canarias i20 R5+ and in so doing wrapped up the Canary Islands regional championship. Pernia who was drafted in to support him dutifully came second and Cruz in the Porsche came third.

Another nice rally in really hot weather. Said it before but if you fancy a winter sun holiday with an event thrown in can really recommend Rallye Isla de Lanzarote!
