Canary Islands championship changing almost by the day. The rally in La Palma has been cancelled and replaced by another event in Gran Canaria and looks like Lanzarote will also be cannned due to worries about the influx from other islands and countries.

Next week is the Rallye Princesa de Asturias, round of the tarmac championship

This will be also the next round of the Peugeot Cup Iberica(second round, after the cancellation of Rali do Ribeiro), and I guess it will be under the rememberance of Laura Salvo

Interesting development in the spanish rally scene. After introducing the mix surface ‘Supercampeonato’ (S-CER) a couple of years ago, the local ASN decided to promote it as the main rally series in 2021, changing the tarmac championship (CERA) to a ‘cup’ status (the same for the current CERT gravel series). The aim is to be aligned with the international series, allowing young crews to be more competitive in all surfaces ASAP.
