    R.I.P.

Just heard it in the TV news.

I have three of his albums: 5, Shades and Grasshopper.

Although I’m more of a heavy and progressive music lover, JJ Cales music has always attracted me. Put the record playing, lay down, close your eyes and enjoy it.

I started to play his music thanks to a crazy German girl I met in Sri Lanka in the early 80s. His magic music and guitar, has the power to cheer me up, and must say that I have used it a lot in my life I have got most of his album and my fave track is Boiling Spot followed by: I will make love to you anytime, Don't cry sister, Lies, Hey Baby, After Midnight, Call me the Breeze, Magnolia etc..

    RIP J.J.
Another artist gone who I had always wanted to see in concert, but never had the chance to.

If you haven't watched it already, you should get hold of the documentary "To Tulsa and back", which I think is great.
