The penultimate round of he hungarian Championship was won this weekend by Ostberg and Eriksen after a pretty dominant display. Early on they had a 30s penalty, which was later removed. 2nd was Hadik after his crash in Veszprém, followed by Velenczei on the last podium step. 4h was Klausz, 5th was Csomós after loosing a lot of time on the first day with a puncture. Turán's torrid season continues, as he was forced to retire with a technical problem (broken driveshaft).
Championship-wise, Hadik's lead is now pretty good over Csomós, with maybe Klausz and Ostberg having an outside chance.

Yes, well done to them, they drove an almost flawless season (Veszprém crash aside) and deservedly became champions. But the breakout this season for me was Csomós and his codriver Attila Nagy, they really got up a notch and if they can eliminate some mistakes which cost them many points (Mecsek crash for example), then they will be big favourites to win the title next year. Of course, terrible season for Turán (he has one every 2nd year), so next year he should be back also, but he just put up his Polo for rent for next year.

TBR have started disassembling the C3, also sent out a request to Citroën Racing for replacement parts. After that comes back can they decide how to continue, but they are pumped up and want to return.

Some news on the C3 WRC: the chassis work is finished, it is going to be painted soon. They also got the offer from Citroën for the parts they need. Bútor said the goal is to have the car finished by the beginning of april, and then have a rollout test in may, with 3 rallies this season.

Croatia is nice in TV, but for the fans it isnt so great. Waking up at 2:30 to watch just 2 passes of SS9, cuz there is just NO entrance to the stage
