Today there was the traditional gravel Mikulás Rallye held in Hungary with some interesting foreign guests (Cais, Neubauer, Martin Semerád or Koči). One stage was canceled because an old artillery shell was dug out of the road Semerád started with Mirage Proto and finished second among non-R5 cars (behind Hevesi with gr.A Evo IV) and Koči won 2WD with Fiesta Rally4.

    1. Turán (Polo R5) 49:30,5
    2. Cais (Fiesta R5 Mk.II) +13,7
    3. Bútor (Fabia R5) +26,7
    4. Hadik (Fiesta R5 Mk.II) +28,8
    5. Vincze (Fabia R5 Evo) +30,1
    6. Velenczei (Fabia R5 Evo) +33,4
    7. Csomós (Fabia R) +57,4
    8. Neubauer (Fiesta R5 Mk.II) +1:06,0
    9. Kovács (Fiesta R5) +1:15,4
    10. Csucsu (C3 R5) +1:17,3

What was the problem with Cais and the start selection position?

I saw something on his social media, kind of complaining that for some reason he was the last driver to choose the start position and therefore the only available position was first.

The same thing happened on the Manx International Rally about 20 or 25 years ago. I wonder if it's happened on any other rallies?

Yes, it says next year they switch over to the new 208s, as this year they still had the old ones. It also says that the prizes and entry fees are going to stay the same, and they also get discount from Pirelli.
