    Welcome MarkBarrett. I'm looking forward to your fresh ideas about how Nuvolari won the Mille Miglia, whether the Mercedes paint scraping story is true, who was European Champion in 1939, why Fangio hit the oil drums at Silverstone in 1954, why René Arnoux was dropped from the Ferrari team in 1985, why Alain Prost didn't win 8 World championships and some of the other mysteries of motor racing history.

    Well, we don't seem to have seen any of MarkBarret's fresh ideas etc.

    Have to wait and see. I joined in Jun 2009 but apart from a couple of posts. I think it was 3 or 4 months before I got to 10 posts.

    On the other hand you can read a bit into opening sentences. This opening sentence seems a bit fishy.

    That's what I felt. The opening sentence reads like a generic "suitable for any forum" posting you'd expect from someone who's playing that game: how many sites can I register on / how many google mentions can I get? What's it called? But I'm still not certain.
