Ron Dennis, and the next battle:

First it was the Flexi Floors, which succumbed to his inquiry to the fia with barely a fight.

    The new enemy? BusinessF1:

F1: Teams Join Forces Against BusinessF1 Magazine

Ron Dennis has apparently become so incensed that he has composed a letter which he hopes the other bosses will put their names to, after he distributed it to them at today’s meeting. Essentially it expresses a lack of faith in the accuracy of the magazine’s reporting.

And what could BusinessF1 have done to warrent the wrath of Ron Dennis?

    Meet F1's big spender

McLaren has leapfrogged Ferrari and Toyota to assume the dubious honour of having the biggest budget in F1.

According to the specialist magazine Business F1, the Woking based camp added an extra (US) $46m to its books for 2007 to compile an annual spend of nearly $500m in total.

Or could it simply be that Ron got fed up with things like:
Run by Tom Rubython, the controversial magazine has been involved in several libel actions in recent times, including several with the FIA.
Instead of calling it whining, i'd call it a sensible move which just might be welcomed by other team bosses who propably too concider the magazine to be scum.

Ron can't feel right if he is not attacking something. Sometimes, I Think that he is not human.

Business F1 have been going through the wars of late, they were sued by Tony Purnell (former Jag boss, now working for the FIA thanks to being a mate of Max) because of a claim they made about Purnell bribing Autosport into printing mis-information about Ford's plans for the Jaguar F1 team, indeed Autosport did report about Ford creating an F1 "superteam" which was sourced from Purnell which was then shot down within days by Ford announcing a total withdrawal from F1, making a mockery of Autosport in the process. Surprisingly other claims from Business F1 about Purnell were not challenged, such as a report that he personally sabourtaged the design of the Jaguar R3, hence why the car was so fundementally awful, the performance of which got Niki Lauda sacked from the team and guess who replaced him - thats right, Purnell.

As for Business F1 exposing the fact that McLaren now have an absolutely massive budget (that even eclipses Toyota) I think Ron may feel that such information shouldnt be for public consumption and may put even more pressure on his team to perform, though by what has occured of late it seems to be working as the team now lead both championships in F1!
