I seriously doubt it. Too often it goes like today: Up at 0700, get little Natasha and Annoushka up and fed and walk to school, home and answer emails, then phone and pack junk for sending----just sent really nice LONG con rods and smidda CP pistons to 2 guys in Limmared for a classic Saab 99 and a classic MkI Escort, then errands then pick up the girlies at 15.10 bring 'em home fix some snackies, chase them and read with them, wifey gets home then down to machine shop for lite upp-karvning av aluminum and steel...then home--tonight was home at 22.45...eat some dinner and look in on things like this that require no thinking, then wash up and in bed aroud midnatt or 0030. If I have ANY time I want to spend it with my wifey and the squirmy-girls who are all so sweet and so full of curiosity and wonder. Just got a nice old "Light day service rig" aka Volvo 245 in case i have time to do any rally, if not then its perfect for filling with camping gear to go show the girls the mountains here.

Some days its not sooooo terrible and I can take it wasy and only work half day.............

    Tragedy has stricken once again.

A 19 year old woman was killed in an accident at Skänningeknixen rally in Skänninge.
I don't know much about the accident more then that the car somehow lifted onto two wheels and hit a couple of spectators.
Hard to know but I think they might have been standing at an improper place.

I was at another Rally all day today at the Aprilsprinten rally sprint where there was a serious accident where a car was flipped up onto two wheels
and while being brought back down to four wheels driver struggled to maintain control and eventually spun and slide into a large stone which
it hit with the co-driver side. IIRC roll cage damaged, door and the door frame was ripped off and also large damage to the roof at the co-driver side.

Co-driver was stuck and fire fighters had to work quite long (maybe 20-30 min) to get her free. The official report said that she was fully conscious and
was brought to hospital for observation. However I overheard a discussion between a group of people, who were standing next to me, and
someone they knew who knew the couple that was involved in the accident. According to this discussion the co-driver suffered a puncture lung
    but no other serious injuries.

As for the rest of the sprint rally, 140 entrants doing 3x2 laps each starting with 30-40 seconds interval with "floating start"*. Which worked very well.
Sunny weather for the first hour and half then more and more clouds and colder and colder temperature. It was almost freezing cold towards the end so
I left about slightly after halfway through the final round. The weather made it not worth staying for the final 30-40 cars.

Some good driving, one driver who managed to rip off a wheel, one driver who managed to roll his golf, allot of engine/gear box failures.
As usual, huge amount of Volvo 200 and 900-series rally cars. Did allot of filming so it might be available within the next few days.

Mats Jonsson won this weekends round of SRC. Main contender Jerker Axelsson went off road today when only thing he had to do was to finish the round to become champion in 4WD class. Jerker had to bring a Mitsu Evo9 when his S10 Subaru wasn´t able to be driven.

Now the championship will be battled out in the last round in Rally Uppsala 3-4th of October.
