You didn't realize the point. If Adamo had hired Paddon, then Breen would have remained a free agent for his rivals. By hiring Breen he thought Paddon would sit out the rally and the competitors wouldn't get a Rally Finland expert. But now Paddon could finish ahead of the Hyundais, meaning that Hyundai gets less manufacturer points.

Oh yes, hiring someone insteed of their own driver, who knows the car and was the fastest of them last year makes otherwise perfect sense...
We, "mortals", will never know, what an why it is going on in some managers head.

Maybe Adamo knew in advance that Breen was looking for a Rally Finland WRC drive. He could have well ended up where Paddon is now.

A bit different post to the bar than usual.
Planning a holiday to Sardinia and for the first time have luggage in the tickets, so I could bring back some nice mirto. Need to start preparing for the winter feasts. Anyone got recommendations where to get good mirto in Sardinia?Never stop dreaming because one day it might happen.

Hi, all, got a question for you experts: I have never been to a tarmac rally and am planning to do so next year. Which one would you recommend as the best shot for a first tarmac experience? Thanks in advance for your attention and tips!

Probably best to wait and see which tarmac rallies are actually on the calendar next year!
