Gilmour's new Suzuki rally car revealed - New Zealand Rally Championship

Should blow group N's into the wind. 1200kg + 250kw. I am liking these new regs

Im Expecting a few teething problems so I wouldn't be so sure about that, I reckon it depends mostly how good the suspension will be..
Expect Paddon to blow everyone apart in the R4 spec car..

Mason's press release states the Subaru has only had a minor upgrade. Road conditions, tyres, weather & start position key factors this weekend.

Also Miki and Ms Pons in a Porsche, hopefully they have a better result than his last NZ Rally.

I was speaking hypothetically, but yes no doubt Paddon will show everyone why he is deserving of a place in top ranks of the sport

Are TVNZ or 3 doing any coverage of the Championship?

Most excited i've been for the rally in years. Specially the quality of the classic field.

Emma Gilmour is aiming to run as the zero car as the Suzuki Maxi had not been shaken down to run in the rally.

Feel bad for Kelsey (& Jansen) but it's good to see Paddon on form if only in NZ. Here's hoping he gets back to international competition soon - it'd be such a waste of his talent not to.

Mason's had a puncture so it's Paddon and Hunt (who has gotten stronger and stronger over the past few years) at the top.
