    Junior Rallying in Latvia

    Evening guys/girls,

Following the success of the Junior Rallying scheme that saw British Junior drivers compete successfully in Latvia a couple of years ago, I am looking for some information on what events and the age limits for Rallying in Latvia.

I understand that the Co-Driver has to drive the road sections and recce, what is the minimum age for the driver? I am looking at bringing a 14 year old driver over to do some events later in the year.

A list of events would be super if anyone has one, and maybe the host town for the event?

    Any help would be great.

    Joe

Wasn't Estonia a good possibility too for young drivers? I know someone who is considering to let a young driver do some events in Estonia (think the minimum age is 16).

Thanks. Do you have a list of events they are allowed to do and the car classes that they are allowed to drive?

When it all starts it was something like that - Junior Rallying scheme to be launched at ASI | Page 1 | Rally UK News | Dec 2007 | Crash.Net see description of "Phase 2" and "Phase 3". Here you can see Latvian Rallysprint calendar (page 2) - http://www.laf.lv/laf/wp-content/upl...ikums_2013.doc it's relate to "Phase 2"...
But once more... it was a years back, for reliable info you should ask to Latvian ASN.
