    Question Tyre Genius?

    Can anyone tell me who the genius with tyres is at Ford? Same, same or have they someone new??

    I believe their tyre guru for the past 20+ yrs has been George Black but haven't heard mention of him for a while. Just wondering if he's still with them.

    George Black is always at Ford with the tests team where it seems to have a major role than just studying the tyres. But I don't know if he goes to the rallys too.

    Yes he does, mr Black is Ford's expert on the black stuff. Whether he's still in, as asked by justjuli, I don't know but I haven't heard anything contrary.
