    RML out for 2012

    Sorry to see them go. how does this effect the car numbers for this year. What do we know as guaranteed runners for 2012 so far?

    We might see them again in the future, but only with another manufacturer backing them, cant see them running again as an indie

    The TH Motorsport Skoda looks in doubt since at the beginning of January the team put out a series of Tweets saying they had lost a major backer. A real shame to have lost RML.

    Has there been any official confirmation of the Rob Austin Audis, the Dynojet Avensis or Motorbase yet?

    Motorbase's team manager, Olly Collins did say they are planning on running three Focuses Oly Collins Interview January 2012
    Rob Austin Racing have been posting fairly regular comments on their Facebook page about the updates they are doing to their Audis.

    But there haven't been official news items about them on the BTCC website, have there?

    Wow.... what a weak field... I'm struggling to build up any excitment for this season, we may get some close racing at the front come mid season but until then, Honda congratulations...

    60% are wealthy club racers.... I mean christ, one of the best teams and half a driver line up.. No disrespect. We may have quantity...but very little quality now! BTCC died at the end of 2009

    Unfortunately not. Still quite a few weeks until the Media Day, we'll get to see how it all plays out.

    Know what you mean, but sometimes they can surprise. I would have dismissed Nick Foster as such last season, but he well and truly proved that impression wrong.
