Indeed. There is one guy who has done some rounds in Estonian Championship and his car has been for sale since he bought this car :-) But when Ogier crashes more Skodas, then Volkswagen maybe needs some more ;-)

Motorsport News today reports that Meeke is going to try to be there in a customer Mini. The rally will be split into two sections (national event for WRCars) and IRC entrants.

He should better do it in the S1.6t. What can he achieve in the WRC section rally.

Actually no, the article rather suggested that he would use Donelly's WRC spec Mini. I agree that it would be better to see him in the IRC field with the RRC spec but then he would only get any publicity if Mini registered for IRC anyway.

I guess the WRC Mini could easily be converted to RRC spec but I am not sure whether Prodrive will register for IRC? DR seemed kind of scared of it in the old days when he ran ISC/NOS.
