Thought that Renault Rally3 would be their car next year, but it seems that Toyota´s new Rally2 car was too attractive option and of course it´s also understandable it this situation. Maybe the main program is still in the national events and only a couple of WRC starts.

Followed up today with quote by Eero Raikkonen, Printsport CEO/GM:

Nothing special, just swapping to fresh ones, Skoda Fabia RS #69 coming in next week. We continue running #skodamotorsport cars.

maybe not. i don't see any change in regulation soon, and they ll use fiesta until they finish the shells. toyota will shuffle things up and new skoda is leaving some doubt...can be time for more variety...

Yes, but they have lost most of customers from old days. Lot of competitors who were connected to M-Sport has switched to different brand.

true, but that's the market. they can come back or others will move as easily if the car is working and the price is good. their "core-business" regions like uk are still running and on exotic /extra eu championship (Africa especially) they're pretty much lonely.

The Fiesta isnt alone in having slow development and sales. There's been quite a few R5 / Rally2 cars that have had tough starts and come good eventually and gained popularity. The i20 and the C3 both had poor receptions, and even the Polo had issues that put people off it for a while. Pricing and running costs will also be a consideration and M-Sport could do very competitive deals to sway buyers.
