Yes, I think I read somewhere that it will be. Anyway, take it with a pinch of salt. Manu's sometimes say things and then don't go thru with them

In 2017, Famin said there will be one from it, but it might have changed since then. There will be an R2 from it at least, but I think R5 as well.

First win on asphalt for the Polo R5 by Princen in the Haspengouw Rally. Did a perfect rally and the two testing days seemed enough to adapt to the Polo R5.

Princen - lots of talent, shame it never came together at top level for him.
Kris Meeke got fired -PSG so terrified they quit!

Depends on the country and the driver's.

The Fiesta R5 is still dominant in the UK & Ireland despite numerous Fabia's and now i20's...

In Northern France William Wagner won his first outing with the Polo R5. Quentin Gilbert, who was second (and only competitor closely following), also with Polo R5, retired with a damaged wheel.

@Fast Eddie, of course they're still dominant, there are no Polo's yet on the British Isles.

From today's results the Belgian one says a lot more about Polo than the French one. There was nearly nobody to compete with Wagner and Gilbert.

Well, Mauffrey was close on the first stage, but lost over a minute on the second. Salanon also participated, but went out on the very first stage... But indeed, no comparison like there was in Rally van Haspengouw.
