Time to start this one up I think, with quite a few stories emerging for next year.

What's confirmed....

  • Dynamics to switch to NGTC with two Honda Civics for Matt Neal & Gordon Shedden[/*:m:3ehojx6p]
  • Welch Motorsport to continue with their Proton, possibly with a second car[/*:m:3ehojx6p]
  • Thorney Motorsport to enter a pair of Vauxhall Insignia NGTCs[/*:m:3ehojx6p]
  • TH Motorsport to run an NGTC Skoda Octavia for Matt Hamilton[/*:m:3ehojx6p]
  • Triple Eight building and running an as yet unspecified NGTC spec car next season[/*:m:3ehojx6p]
  • Eurotech Racing returning with Andy Jordan in yet another unspecified NGTC car.[/*:m:3ehojx6p]
  • The only non-NGTC entry to be announced so far, Special Tuning Racing intend to continue running a two car SEAT Leon team next season, with the possibility of also running a single car WTCC entry.[/*:m:3ehojx6p]

What's highly likely....

  • Rob Austin Racing continuing with the Audis for next season, possibly with a third car.[/*:m:3ehojx6p]
  • Dynojet returning with the Avensis for Wrathall, possibly with some Toyota backing, and the team are aiming to run a second car next season.[/*:m:3ehojx6p]
  • WSR switching to a, as yet, unnamed NGTC package.[/*:m:3ehojx6p]
  • I believe Motorbase aren't quite as tied to the S2000 Focus as it might seem. The money to buy them came from Griffin and things appear to be slightly uncertain as to what he and the team will be doing next season. They'll be on the grid one way or another though.[/*:m:3ehojx6p]
  • RML are set to develop an NGTC Cruze for next season.[/*:m:3ehojx6p]
  • Techspeed have stated they hope to have NGTC engines in their Cruze next season.[/*:m:3ehojx6p]
  • Geoff Steel Racing is hoping to run a pair of turbo-charged BMW 320si's next season.[/*:m:3ehojx6p]

Who might be leaving....

  • Arena have talked about switching to the WTCC for next season, although this has gone slightly cold of late. They seem unwilling to do so without Ford backing, which hasn't been forthcoming yet. Have stated they are opposed to NGTC cars.[/*:m:3ehojx6p]
