LAND SPEED RECORD in the 1960s: Audio of Arfons and Breedlove
Hi everyone,
I'm Sam Hawley, author of the book SPEED DUEL. Just a heads-up that I've added some new stuff to my Land Speed Record website--and I think that you're going to find that it's pretty darn cool. It's actual audio of Craig Breedlove and Art Arfons on the Bonneville Salt Flats in the 1960s. Here's the link:
Land Speed Record - Arfons, Breedlove, Graham, Leasher, Ostich and more
Be sure to check in particular the "Bonneville audio" clips 1, 2, 3 and 4 under "Green Monster." These recordings have never been made public before.
Enjoy!

M-Sport/ Ford have been testing using a 'simulator' in the USA. They say its helped improve the Puma Rally1 car, especially for tarmac. Does anyone know what this simulator could be like ? Story...
