The forecast is looking better now. It looks like it will be dry and from what ive heard very dusty too!

Well yesterday was a very dusty, but in the end a very good day out in Haye Park

Well done to Andy Burton on getting his 10th win on the event, I couldnt believe the 40 second gap to Chilman at the end! I spent the morning at J16 on SS1 which was an uphill hairpin left and saw some nice tail out action and a half spin from a RWD pug 306. I also have some interesting trackside video footage and a bit of a blooper to go with it...

In the afternoon I decided to put the camera away and just watch for once! I was at J6 on SS7 and saw some brilliant, committed driving through the quick left hander before it with both Dave Wright and Chilman looking very lairy. In the 1400s before hand a blue Nova had a very sideways moment after the junction, I really thought he was going to be visiting the scenery!

Another enjoyable Woodpecker, fantastic to see Andy Burton and the Peugeot-Cosworth win, Andy's 10th win, and the final Woodpecker win for the Peugeot-Cosworth!! It was dusty, and plenty of committed driving, as one would expect.

Well this years Woodpecker was the most enjoyable i've ever been to. Had a great day in Haye Park, just wish the wind had been a little stronger to shift the dust amongst the trees. Seen more offs in 1 day than I have all year too!

Mad isnt it? it still winds me up now as much as it did when the ban was announced!

Heres a few pics from a nightmare morning with the camera. I dont know what I was doing differently, but I had some many shots out of focus it was unreal, I dont think ive ever deleted so many...
