We've still got a full race to wait and see. Who knows what Webber might do - he's got lots of new soft tyres for the race!

You're right, looks like Petrov is trying to still them this title by parking the car in the middle of the track.

Tough day for Web. He's gonna be angry though - just need to see if that makes him fast, or if he drives himself into everything that moves in red mist.
All other opinions are wrong....

It really is unforgivable to go out in Q1 with hard tyres bolted onto the car! If your even remotely marginal on pace, especially given the car was defective, your just nuts to go out on hard AND not give yourself enough time to do 2 laps! Even I know that you need to do two laps on the hards because the pressures aren't up on the first lap.
Sure Vettel was 8 tenths faster on the same tires, but his kers system was working (ofcourse...) which with such long straights in Shanhai, would probably be worth around 8 tenths... Dumb decisoin

Not 8 tenths. Perhaps 3.
Hindsight is wonderful, but at the time Red Bull must surely have believed they could get through easily in the hards. All other opinions are wrong....
