    very handy list, thanks.

    Have these been checked for 2007 compatibility? I'm taking my scanner to Rockingham.

    The Chilton and Giovanardi frequencies are crossed over on the above 2 lists. Which are the correct frequencies?

    For 2007, the simple answer is we don't know yet and they somes swap round.......

    VX Racing tend to stick to 159.250 (usually their no 1 driver), 159.5875 (usually no 2 driver) and 163.750 (usually no 3 driver when they run one). But Chilton used 159.250 at Thruxton in 2006, Giovanardi used 159.250 come the Silverstone round (and vice versa with 159.5875). If you'd added all 3 VX Racing frequencies to your scanner I'm sure you'll soon figure out who's using what.

    To give an example, I have logs that say John Cleland used 159.250 and Yvan Muller on 159.5875 back in the late 1990's !!

    Bear in mind that the frequency-driver allocations do change occassionally and there's no guarantee that this list will be 100%.....but a good place to start from. Smaller/new teams frequencies are much harder to track and therefore predict.

    Jim.

    You mean Pinkney has switched to Marsh's car as I don't believe the team have switched over to a Lexus :

    Is this all legal?!!

    Listening in on a team-driver radio communication thingy with one of those big skyscrapper of a radio-job??

    I am positive if you listened in on an ambulance or a fire service emergency communication you would get banged up for it! ......maybe it an't that bad after all!

    Scaners are perfectly legal, although they aren't skyscraper size these days! What your thinking of is broadcasting on an emergency frequency which is very muc illegal. The scanners don't broadcast anything they only recieve signals, a bit like a very powerful radio you'd listen to music on.

    For an example here's mine;

    Although mine is the European version so doesn't feature NASCAR!
