Yes rally will run, the question is will the wrc teams be there? The trucks, Citroen, Ford, NOS, and Michelin come from europe and its their safety in transit through Syria is the problem. Rally cars and crews will fly in, its the spares, the recce cars, wrc fuel and tyres thats the area of concern.

From what I know FIA decision is due friday. I am almost certain the rally will go ahead, but due to warnings from European governments the teams, especially Citroen have questioned whether it is wise to go there for the rally. If the rally runs and WRC teams dont turn up it will be a middle east type entry. I think we will all have to wait and see.

This is a great idea. I would be very happy. I think that Rally Poland it's the second best event after Rally Finland, and I'm talking about stages. There are very nice stages, fast and with good surface. And also they have a great tradition in rallying. In my opinion I think that Rally Poland it's the best rally event that oficials bring into WRC in last few years. And more of the point...I don't really like Rally Jordan too mutch.

Have you been ever in both events? I suppose you don't...
