No Rantanen... It will be the fab four clearly ahead the rest of the pack. Nikara has my vote for the win.

It will be interesting to compare Lappi and Pajunen on this one. My 5 cents on Lappi.

Mikko Pajunen testing his Twingo R2

Take a look of Mikko Pajunen testing prior to Vaakuna Rally in beautiful and fresh (-22 degrees) Finnish scenery.

And yes it´s first (and only) Twingo R2 in Finland for the moment.

You can follow Mikkos and all others results from here http://tulossivu.autourheilu.fi from the friday evening 19:00 Finnish time (18:00 CET) and continuing in the saturday 11:00 Finnish time (10:00 CET).
Once it pop´s, you can´t stop...

    Race on!

Here I am at the service park...waiting for first service to begin.
SS2 is going on just now.

Nikara slipped of the road and got stucked air filter full of snow. Missed there almost 2min.
Therman, Tiippana also same problem, probably same corner.

Salo won again, Lindroos was second and Tuohino third. Nikara lost almost 2 min on the SS 2, but with the help of fastest time on the last stage, he was able to take fourth place.

In the SM2 category Esapekka Lappi took his third win of the season. Mikko Pajunen was driving Twingo R2 and was fourth after the SS 4, but damaged the wheel and lost over minute and retired after the SS 5.

    Are those final points right?
    Isn´t 15 points for the 1st, 12 for 2nd and 10 for 3rd?

    If I'm right: Salo (38); Lindroos (34); Tuohino (32); Nikara (23); Tahko (12)...

Esapekka Lappi did a good job again. Three events, three wins.
