the chassis being built in Salzburg by Carbo Tech Composites GmbH. This company has developed rapidly in recent years thanks in part to a deal that it enjoyed with Scuderia Toro Rosso to build chassis in the days when the the Faenza team was using Red Bull Racing designs. A Carbo Tech chassis was thus the winner of a Grand Prix at Monza in 2008 when Sebastian Vettel won the Italian GP.
Interesting. Thanks, and the design? Do you know where that is being done?

I seem to recall that the reason why the team is called Hispania doesn't have to do with any kind of patriotic sentiment, but with the name of the company behind it, of which Ramón Carabante is chairman.

Liking the huge numbers, they'll probably disappear when some sponsors show up though

Nice livery at the rear...front still looks poor though. the 'your name here' stuff is a bit pathetic as well tbh, lets hope for their sake someone actually takes that space up.

As for their second driver, I'm surprised they didn't announce that today. Surely it cant be long though before we hear the great news that Jean Denis Deletraz has come out of retirement...
Congratulations Sebastian Vettel. Champion of the season of seasons.

The Hispania Racing team will skip this week's Jerez test and will instead take part in a Pirelli filming session at Monza.

Probably some money in it for them. More important than testing where HRT are concerned it seems.

Hurrah. Finally a backmarker worth his name. Why be lapped 4 or 5 times when you can be lapped 10 times.

On the car though I'm just glad to see that they could make the grid.

Looks a reasonable car. I like the livery a bit different.

I wish Toro Rosso would change theirs a bit.
