mmmm - new look not really doing anything for me, but after 8yrs using the same layout any major change would take some getting used to. Avatars is a nice touch but definitely agree that the look is a touch too bright atm.

One thing we are definitely going to change are the colours, after all this is the vBulletin default style so we don't want to be keeping that really! So if you have any suggestions or even mockups etc of how things could look then please go ahead!

However changing the colours isn't the priority at the moment while I get stuff working!

I like the red skin you did, but maybe change the red to a blue just like the olden days so people recognise the board as soon as they come on it?

I would like to see username, avatar and other user related info left of the post like it used to be and how it is on most forums. You loose to much space with it vertically.

I'm using the standard skin and the thread titles in the forumlist are very small. Also the user names are a little bit smaller than usual. All other text is the normal size.

Please respond. The "US Gun Laws" thread is for some reason the normal size, while all others are too small.

I think that's because for you that thread is unread but the rest you've already read, so won't be of interest to you. At least I think that's the idea.

I'm not sure that's right, Mark, because most of the other threads show as unread with the little icon jobber.

I think the 'red' skin is fine but agree that blue colour would be nicer (but still on the grey background). Also the avatars seem to have a little border around them that looks a bit turd.

People will always moan about change though, it happened when we went from the old old forum to the old one.

One thing I can't see now that I found to be useful on the old software (and on other forums) is your last login date/time. Not a big thing but if you could put it somewhere on your "to do" list . . . .
(or at least tell me where it's hiding!!)
