    Audi reveals new R18 coupe

    The car, which will replace the Le Mans-winning R15-plus, was unveiled at a launch in Ingolstadt tonight.

    The R18 will be powered by a 3.7-litre six-cylinder turbodiesel and will soon begin an extensive testing programme.

    No, it is a mandatory wing support.
    As far as I have heard /read F-ducts are not allowed on LMP cars.

    Impressive looking racer!
    It would look so much better without the fin.
    Here's a quick (and crappy I must admit) attempt to remove the fin:

    Nice work. I'm not a fan of these new fins, they are not suited to LMP cars, IMO

    the Shark fins should not be allowed on these cars, and the pic just proves it!!!!!!

    it a great looking LMP and hope it gives the fight to Peugeot and AMR
    Brian France is a violation of Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing)

    Wow, one of the weirdest looking race cars I've ever seen. I like it. Minus the shark fin.
