And De Gea signs a new contract after being reported he was super eager to leave all summer. That's really strange. Maybe he read into Real's shenanigans and saw they wanted him really bad but weren't prepared to pay any money for him... this from a club that paid more than a quarter of a billion for just 3 players.

. BVB got to a wonderful start of the season, 5 wins in 5 matches and plenty of goals. Unfortunately so did Bayern and BVB's slide has already began. After 2 draws they're no 4 points behind. I think the Bundesliga is the most lopsided championship of the big ones. You have the big 4 in England where even finishing top 4 is a big breakthrough for the middle table teams. And then in Spain there's Barcelona, Real Madrid and the rest but in Germany Bayern is on its own. Most teams play half assed against them and the only thing they want is not to be humiliated... no wonder Lewandowski scored 5 goals in 9 minutes.
