Season final in Austria - Rallye W4 (former Rallye Waldviertel) - takes place this weekend on 16th/17th of November. Considering it doesn´t count for any championship this year (changement in organization team), entries are not bad.

Some information revealed about Jänner Rallye 2019. It will be held 3-5th January. The rally has 16 stages (only one circuit one) in 8 sections with 221 km overall stage distance. The stages are 93% ashpalt and 7% gravel (of course hopefully covered by snow). There shall be also a some live stages on ÖRF Sport.

There’s a big move about to happen in spanish rally scene; besides the tarmac (CERA) and gravel (CERT) championships, a new ‘superchampionship’ (S-CER) will arrive next year, taking 4 CERA and 4 CERT events. Apparently the plan, if S-CER manages to show potential, is to have only the S-CER from 2020. Lot’s of crews and teams (including some top names) are already interested in the new series. http://www.motorenlinea.es/articulo-...espana-en-2019

More information about Jänner Rallye 2019 - entry list has just been published. I don't know if WRC cars have been banned or not in Austria, but there isn't any on the entry list. There are 9 R5 cars at the top of the list.

    That's very disappointing entry list

At least both Wagner brothers drive R5 cars...

Yes, indeed very bad list, in quality and quantity. Must be very frustrating for organizers.

Isn't it a standard entry list in Austria?

Quality of entries is more like that of a sprint rally in Austria (Austrian rallye challenge).

With this entry list I wouldn´t bet on another edition in 2020, at least not in Austrian championship.
