Danzinger deservers a car to fight for overal tittle. It's pitty that he has to drive R2 but for sure it's better than nothing.

Flodin won the Peno Rally with very comfortable margin.
Novikov retired on penultimate stage due to the engine failure. He was sitting in comfortable second place (40 s behind Flodin, nearly 1 min in front of third place).Colins Crest = Möldri Mätas

The Celtic Tiger has lost it's roar. The Irish economy isnt great at the moment and there were political issues before the new year that threatened rallying in Ireland.
Looks like being a bit of a transition year before WRC cars are gradually out favoured in the points scoring. Dunlop National series (1 day events) should see some good entries though
