Unfortunately the rally had to be stopped after SS10 due the fatal accident of Albert Bellschan von Mildenburg (Renault Alpine). His codriver (wife) was airlifted to hospital.

Lucky escape for Alberto Monarri when his Fiat 124 Abarth crashed during the Princesa de Asturias at the weekend. Seen a few crash vids of the Fiat in recent weeks and although none have involved really bad injuries they do seem to peel open quite easily.

Surprising victory for Orsák who didn't drive any rally for roughly one year.
